Dermosonic® is a patented technology to effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite, improve local blood circulation and promotes Lymphatic Drainage. Dermosonic is a comprehensive, non-invasive, non-surgical system that is proven safe and effective.

This dual modality system combines Non-Invasive Subdermal Therapy (NIST) and ultrasound. Ultrasound is used to warm the underlying layers of tissue, fat cells preparing them for the NIST function. NIST creates a gentle vacuum suction to mobilize tissue and improve local circulation.

With Dermosonic®, a body stocking is not needed. Treatments are enjoyable and relaxing because the skin is warmed and soothed by ultrasound and gently massaged with NIST™. (Non-Invasive Sub-dermal Therapy)

Unlike other cellulite treatments, Dermosonic® does not use any roller type or pinching techniques, which are usually considered dangerous. Dermosonic® is usually done in thirty minute to one hour treatment sessions and continued for in a series of sessions, depending on how much contouring is needed. The Dermosonic treatment is the most effective cellulite reduction treatment offered.

Dermosonic® combines two FDA-approved fat-reducing techniques; ultrasound reduction and non-invasive subdermal therapy to treat the affected areas. Since these are FDA-approved procedures, these have been medically proven to work and treat fatty areas. The ultrasound technique is first applied to increase the breakdown of stubborn tissue (the cause of cellulite) and prepares the skin for the subdermal therapy technique. Usually called N.I.S.T., vibrating mechanisms are applied to the region to stimulate circulation and tighten the surrounding skin.

The Dermosonic® method has been used in Europe with excellent results since 1999. The Dermosonic® method's addition of FDA approved ultrasound technology greatly increases the ease and effectiveness of the more conventional vibratory and suction techniques which are used to manipulate the connective tissue and fatty deposits.

How it works:

The Dermosonic® method is a two stage process
The first stage incorporates ultrasonic waves to penetrate beneath the skin creating fibrosis breakage, stimulating blood circulation and literally liquefying fat deposits. This important and unique first stage prepares the tissue for the second stage of the Dermosonic® method which is the elongation of connective tissue, dispersion of fat deposits and the promotion of lymphatic drainage using specialized vibratory and suction techniques.

A typical two stage treatment lasts 30 to 60 minutes and many clients experience visible results after only one treatment. In addition, a very common side benefit of the Dermosonic® method is inch loss and improved body contouring

The Program
On average, the Dermosonic® program calls for 2 treatments per week. Sessions take about 50 minutes. Generally, patients may see significant changes within 6 sessions, however a personal consultation will help determine the exact number of treatments that you will most likely need. Finally maintenance sessions are sometimes recommended to increase the longevity of the results.
